Final Examination

The passing score for all Wall Street Instructors final examinations is 70% correct. If you do not pass on the first attempt, you may retake the examination at no additional charge.

No. All Wall Street Instructors final examinations are self-monitored and given on the honor system. No outside proctor or supervisor is required. The Florida Department of Financial Services permits self-monitored examinations for approved online CE providers.

The examination is given on the honor system and is intended to verify that you have genuinely learned the material. No outside material is allowed while completing the course final exam.

If you do not achieve a passing score of 70%, you may retake the examination at no additional charge. We recommend reviewing the study material — particularly the module review questions — before retaking the exam. There is no limit on the number of retakes within your one-year enrollment period.

Yes. After submitting the final examination, you will see your overall score and which individual questions you answered correctly or incorrectly. Correct answers are not revealed for questions you got wrong — this preserves the integrity of the examination for retake purposes. The module review questions, however, do show the correct answer and explanation immediately after you answer each question.

CE Credits & Filing

Wall Street Instructors electronically files your continuing education credits directly with the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) after your successful course completion. You do not need to submit anything yourself. Credits typically appear on your DFS record within 3 business days of completion.

You can verify your CE credits by logging into MyProfile on the Florida DFS website at dice.fldfs.com. Your completed course credits will appear in your CE history once posted. If you do not see your credits within 7 days of completion, contact us at (954) 764-0254.

No. The Safeguarding Seniors course (Course ID #75922/75022) and the Senior Suitability (Course ID #67349/67329) are approved by the Florida DFS and count towards the elective requirement for Florida agents but do not satisfy the new Best Interest/Annuity Suitability requirement.

Yes. The Law & Ethics Update 2-14 and Law & Ethics Update 2-15 courses are approved by Florida DFS for 5 credits and fully satisfy the Florida Law & Ethics Update Requirement with one credit towards the elective requirement. The Law & Ethics Update requirement is license specific. A Life licensed agent (2-14 or 2-16) must complete the Law & Ethics Update 2-14 course and a Life and Health licensed agent (2-15 or 2-18) must complete the Law & Ethics Update 2-15 course.

Yes. Excess hours accumulated during any 2-year compliance period may be carried forward to the next compliance period.

Florida Licensing

Yes. Wall Street Instructors is approved by the Florida Department of Financial Services as CE Provider #862. All of our courses have been reviewed and approved for continuing education credit for Florida-licensed insurance agents and adjusters.

Florida requires the following CE credits every two-year compliance period (per FS 626.2815):

  • Agents licensed 6 years or less: minimum 24 CE credits (basic, intermediate, or advanced)
  • Agents licensed more than 6 years: minimum 20 CE credits (intermediate or advanced only)
  • All agents: minimum 4 credits in Law & Ethics Update

There are separate requirements for agents selling Annuity and Long Term Care products that will also count towards your elective requirement.

Your CE compliance period is tied to your license anniversary date and runs in two-year cycles. You can find your specific compliance period deadline by logging into MyProfile on the Florida DFS website at dice.fldfs.com. Do not wait until the deadline — late completion can result in a $250 fine and removal of your appointments.

No. Florida law does not allow an agent to receive CE credit for the same course more than once in any single two-year compliance period. You must take different courses to accumulate the required number of credits.

Certificates

A certificate of completion is emailed to you after you successfully pass the final examination. Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive it within a few days. If you need a duplicate certificate, contact us at (954) 764-0254 or wallstreetinstructors@gmail.com.

Yes. Florida regulations require agents to retain CE completion records for a minimum of 4 years. We recommend saving your certificate as a PDF and keeping a printed copy for your records. Wall Street Instructors also maintains completion records and can issue a duplicate certificate upon request.
